User Data Deletion
You may request deletion of personal data associated with your Journal.Vet account or received by Journal.vet – Codex from Meta platforms. These instructions explain how to submit and track a request.
Request deletion
Email us from the address associated with your Journal.Vet account and use the subject “Journal.Vet data deletion request”. We will verify your identity before acting on the request.
Information to include
Include your name, account email, workspace or clinic name when relevant, and whether the request covers Meta-derived data, your full Journal.Vet account, or both. Do not include patient records, client details, audio, or other sensitive veterinary information in the email.
What we delete
Depending on your request, we delete account and profile data, connected Meta identifiers, and personal data received from Meta platforms. We may retain limited information where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or audit obligations. Workspace-controlled records may require authorization from the workspace administrator and may be subject to professional record-retention requirements.
Timing and confirmation
We acknowledge requests after receipt, may ask for information needed to verify identity or authority, and aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. We will confirm when processing is complete or explain any lawful reason for retaining specific information.
Remove Meta access
You may remove Journal.vet – Codex from Facebook Business Integrations to stop future access. Removing the integration does not by itself erase data already stored by Journal.Vet, so submit a deletion request as described above when deletion is required.
